Day 15 - The day I am back in the saddle

Gooooood morning!  Ahh... Two days off and I feel right as rain.  Funny that on my two days 'off,' I taught five classes, but no matter!  I gave my body a break, slept and ate like a champ, and feel like myself again.  I woke up early this morning to go take Kenna Crouch's Wake Up Yoga in Solana Beach.  W-o-w.  That girl can put on a flow.  It was a great, challenging, invigorating class.  We did about twenty minutes of gentle warm ups, fifteen minutes or so of surya namaskar variations, and then a great balancing series that focused on ardha chandrasana, standing splits, and parivrtta ardha chandrasana.  She even gave us the option to do tripod headstand or full headstand, which I did, thank you very much!  (Briefly.  Shut up.)  The class was just a delicious return back to my practice, and I'm grateful to be home.

I came on home and made a yummy breakfast of a couple of scrambled eggs scrambled into a half a bag of spinach over Milton's bread.  And a touch of pepper jack cheese, just for fun.  I'm going to try to stay a bit better fueled as a way to avoid getting so tired.  This oughta do the trick.
nom nom nom nom!

And, adding to my great mood, tonight is my first night teaching at Black Sheep Yoga in Oceanside!  (6:30pm!)  I'm so excited.  Tonight's class will be a Work Day Detox -- we'll have a nice flow... shake off the first couple of days of the work week by building a little heat, and then releasing it out and mellowing down. Tomorrow morning I'm also teaching a morning Salute the Sun class -- we'll take it easy to start as it will just be 7am, but build some energy, find a nice full expansive breath to lift us throughout the day!

Love it all.
